After a few hours’ flight, a luxury car transfer was waiting for me at Paphos airport, and after an hour’s drive, here’s the hotel I discovered.

First impressions

I discovered a charming hotel and very welcoming staff. My luggage was immediately taken in hand and my check-in went off without a hitch. I was then escorted to my room, where I could relax after the long journey.

« A view that’s hard to forget »

The room, a Deluxe – King room, is very spacious and offers a magnificent view of the sea from its balcony. The hotel is very thoughtful, offering welcome products and fresh fruit accompanied by a bottle of wine (with a special mention for the King-size bed, which is super comfortable).

Once settled and rested, I was ready to discover the rest of the hotel!

Infrastructure and restaurants

The hotel’s sober architecture is reminiscent of the 1980s, with large, imposing white buildings, almost reminiscent of an American soap opera. But the whole is grandiose, and sobriety is still the order of the day.

The kids’ facilities are a big plus, offering a whole host of games and activities to help them have the time of their lives! In particular, there’s the kids’ club, a castle-shaped building that looks like it’s straight out of Mario! It’s surrounded by a courtyard dotted with shady areas and games of all kinds.

The hotel offers no less than four restaurants. I didn’t get a chance to try them all (unfortunately), but as far as I know, Lanes is the main restaurant and offers buffet service in the morning and evening. There’s something for everyone, and knowing that children can sometimes be fussy, it’s the right compromise!

I was lucky enough to dine at Nammos, which I don’t think I’ll forget in a hurry. I was able to sample a first-rate selection of meat, succulent local produce cooked to perfection, not to mention the royal service. It was seriously delicious. However, the atmosphere is more intimate and reclusive, so I don’t think it’s a good idea to bring children. Book this restaurant for a romantic dinner!

Last impressions

The day after this meal, I decided to take another tour of the hotel, this time focusing more on the pool areas, and there are plenty of pools for all ages, which is great. Your children will be able to swim in complete safety in the shallow end pools, or even in the paddling pools for the little ones.

«  »Everything is designed to ensure that children never get bored »

Perhaps I forgot to mention the most important thing, which is immediately obvious when you arrive in the room: the beach! With its fine sand and intoxicatingly blue sea, I totally regretted not having more time to swim there. To go near it is to take the risk of having the irrepressible urge to dive in!

Conclusion

Well, it was a really pleasant stay, and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that so many things are done for children! The kids’ club is really superb, so much so that I wish I were 20 years younger to try it out. And let’s not forget the restaurant, Nammos in particular, which is truly exceptional.
